Java on 1/31/11

Java came to us on 1/31/11.  She was found as a stray by a family with 2 small children and another cat.  Java’s face was red and swollen and it seemed to get worse before it got better.  Dr. Schulman took a biopsy from the top of her head to determine what she was suffering from.  It turned out to be a rare herpes infection of the skin.

Java stayed at the hospital for 16 days and was able to go home to her new family.  When her skin is entirely cleared up she will come back in to be spayed.  Your donations to Tails of Woe helped heal little Java and the kind people who found her are able to give her a permanent indoor home.  Java loves their two children!
